Micah DelVecchio

Micah DelVecchio is a PhD student and Economics teacher at Colorado State University. He has a BA in Sociology with Political Science minor, BA in Economics with Mathematics minor, and a MA in Economics. His Master's Thesis, "Shock Therapy vs. Gradualism: An Empirical Analysis of the Transition to Markets Following the Soviet Dissolution", employs his fields of Econometrics and Political Economy to measure public policy's effects upon the economy. He believes that energy and the economy will be the primary policy concerns of the future. Culture is fickle but in the long-run will be forced to focus upon energy policy as our resources diminish. Statistical methods must be developed to address these issues when they become undeniable.

Energy Literacy Advocates (ELA) is a non-partisan, non-profit, public education organization working to improve the energy literacy of all sectors of our democracy.
