Board of Directors
Energy Literacy Advocates’ Board of Directors is charged with providing strategic vision and management oversight for the organization. While board recruitment is ongoing, current members include:
Robert Stetson, Chairman: Mr. Stetson served 26 years as a top executive for such corporate giants as Pizza Hut, PepsiCo, Pearle Vision and Burger King. His strong business background, combined with his Harvard economics education and 1992 work on Ross Perot's “United We Stand” campaign, led him to create the precursor organization to Energy Literacy Advocates in 2005.

Richard D. Lamm, Director: Mr. Lamm is Co-Director of the Institute for Public Policy Studies at the University of Denver, and the former three-term Governor of Colorado (1975-1987). He is both a lawyer (Berkeley, 1961) and a Certified Public Accountant. Governor Lamm has been at the forefront of public policy issues during his career, often advocating for the hard choices that must be made on politically difficult issues.

Gary Hart, Director: Since retiring from the United States Senate, Gary Hart has been extensively involved in international law and business, as a strategic advisor to major U.S. corporations, and as a teacher, author and lecturer. He is currently Scholar in Residence at the University of Colorado and Distinguished Fellow at the New America Foundation. He was recently named chairman of the Council for a Livable World and is chairman of the American Security Project.

Tim Penny, Director: Mr. Penny is the President and CEO of the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation as well as a senior fellow at the Humphrey Institute Policy Forum at the University of Minnesota. He represented Southeastern Minnesota's First Congressional District from 1982 through 1994 and was a member of the U.S. House Agriculture Committee and chair of the Foreign Agriculture and Hunger subcommittee.

Pam Inmann, Director: Pam Inmann became Executive Director of the Western Governors' Association in March 2004. Ms. Inmann previously worked as the District Director in State Government Affairs at Altria Corporate Services. Prior to joining Altria, Ms. Inmann worked for ten years for the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association. At RMOGA she served as Director of Special Projects and Director of the Committee on Oil Shale.

James Lang, Executive Director: Prior to serving as Energy Literacy Advocates executive director, Mr. Lang was a business analyst and operations manager for several high growth businesses – including his own, providing strategic marketing, business development, financial strategies and operations management services.
